Teacher Qualifications/substitutes
Has a positive attitude, a love for children, and knowledge of Early Childhood Educational practices. Be able to maintain the Little Hearts of Clinton, LLC philosophy. Coordinate with your director to meet compliance. Communicate clearly with families and students. Ability to put the needs of children first. Be able to demonstrate the skill and competence necessary to contribute to each child's physical, intellectual, personal, emotional, and social development.
Educational Requirements
Sixty semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with six semester or nine quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six; or 2) One year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center and 30 semester hours (or 45 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with six semester or nine quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to age six; or 3) Completion of credentialing programs approved by the DCFS.
Physical requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed, Ability to get on and off the ground while playing with children, Ability to interact/play with children during outdoor times, and the ability to handle stressful situations.
Daily expectations
Interact with families at pick up drop off, work under the supervision of the center director, Lesson plan for developmental needs, using research based methods and developmentally appropriate practice, Lead a group of teachers, work on curriculum, and understand individual needs of children, interacting directly with children, basic technology knowledge.

Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Be able to demonstrate the skill and competence necessary to contribute to each child's physical, intellectual, personal, emotional, and social development.
Educational requirements
Have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED).
Have food handlers, kitchen Management, or other related certification.
Physical requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed, Ability to stand for long periods of time, and Deliver food to different classrooms.
Daily expectations
Prepare, Cook, serve, and clean up meals 3 times a day. Menu planning by month. Accommodate different developmental stages that relate directly to child development. Work under the supervision of the child-care director.
Additional expectations

This Job is for you if you...

Coordinate with DCFS,CCAP, Gateways to opportunity, and other government agents to meet compliance. Communicate clearly with families and students. Ability to put the needs of children first. Ability to support and help out staff as they need it. Be able to demonstrate the skill and competence necessary to contribute to each child's physical, intellectual, personal, emotional, and social development. To take this position you must be at least 21 years of age.
Educational requirements
The child care director shall have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED) The child care director shall have Sixty semester or 90 quarter hours of credit from an accredited college or university with 18 semester or 27 quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development from birth to age 6; 2) Two years (3120 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center, 30 semester or 45 quarter hours of college credits with 10 semester or 15 quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, and proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university until 2 years of college credit have been achieved. A total of 18 semester or 27 quarter hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development is required to be obtained within the total 2 years of college credits; or 3) Completion of a credentialing program approved in accordance with DCFS.

Support teachers at all times, Commutate with families, Work with DCFS and other government agents to meet compliance. Manage scheduling, Manage some payroll, management family accounts, and tour new families, Answer calls as needed, Manage the front door as needed.
